DION is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, digital media strategist, and video producer, influenced by film auteurs like Akira Kurosawa, Jean-Luc Godard, and Sergei Eisenstein.

DION won a New York Emmy Award for her documentary work on The New York City Opioid Battle, and received a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for the news documentary A Select Few.

In 2013, she released her first political online documentary Kakusei: The Fukushima End, which gained significant attention on Japanese social media.

DION’s cinematography works has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Spectrum News NY1, and international art galleries.
